Betrayal

The day I met you, I got my life!
My lips could not speak
             but my heart spoke on.
My eyes filled with tears -
My body was shivering!!

You came closer, I could feel your fragrance!
The world became wondrous.
                 The sky was bluer.
The roses were red and the grasses greener too!

Days passed and spaces came between!
A tempest blew the hope -
                 and a few drops of rain.
Grasses were muddy.
The sky turned pale!

The day again I met you, I got nothing!
